1. Video on Oral Health "Kripiya Muskuraiye"

As a part of preparation of background material for training of Health workers and to generate Oral Health awareness at the grass root level, an educative video film of half an hour duration has been developed on Oral Health under the National Oral Health Care Programme by the title of "Kripiya Muskuraiye".

This 30 minutes video has covered normal oral anatomy, common dental problems and the methods of prevention of oro-dental problems pertaining to the Indian culture in Hindi Language. Apart from this, demonstration of right brushing technique and method of self-examination for early detection of oral cancer has also been demonstrated in the film. The same video can also be used for showing to the masses wherever feasible.

2. Training Manual for Health Workers

As a part of preparation of background material for training of Health workers and to generate Oral Health awareness at the grass root level, an educative and pictorial Training Manual on Oral Health has been published under the National Oral Health Care Programme.

This 24-pages booklet contains information about normal oro-dental structures, the common oro-dental problems, their signs and symptoms and methods of prevention with the help of coloured pictures. This book also explains the instructions about Infant Dental Care, Geriatric Dental care and prevention of accidents in the oro-facial region.
